2021 RIDE UPDATE:
We are excited to announce that we will be holding our 2021 Goldilocks ride in Provo, Utah on September 18, 2021. We will open registration on January 15, 2021. We understand the current situation regarding COVID-19 is fluid and will do all we can to ensure the safety of our workers, volunteers and riders. We will work closely with local health officials to ensure we are doing everything possible to follow current health guidelines. See our below “Ride Safety FAQs” section below for updated information on how we plan to make Goldilocks a safe and fun event for everyone. On January 15, we will also be revealing our 2021 limited-edition Goldilocks jersey lineup and will have it available for pre-order with your registration.
We look forward to riding with all of you again in 2021 and promise to do all we can to make this year’s Goldilocks Ride a safe and fun experience for everyone involved!
In order to guarantee you get an event T-Shirt, please register by July 15, 2021. All registrations after this date will not be guaranteed to receive an event shirt or have the option to have their ride packet mailed to them.
HOW DO YOU PLAN ON DOING PACKET PICKUP?
We are currently planning on mailing all participant’s packets prior to the race.
WHAT IF I TRANSFERRED MY 2020 RIDE REGISTRATION TO 2021?
Don’t worry! We still have your registration on file and you will be automatically registered for our 2021 ride! That said, don’t forget to jump on our online shop on January 15 and pre-order your 2021 limited edition Goldilocks kits before they are gone forever! Even if you never “deferred” your 2020 registration to 2021, we’ve automatically moved it to 2021 for you!
IS THERE A RIDE PROTECTION PLAN?
Yes! This year, we are offering a ride protection plan. You will be able to add this option during registration and will give you the ability to cancel your registration for any reason and get your money back for any reason. You have up until 48 hours before the ride to decide if you’d like to cancel your registration.
Please note, this option is only available for new registrations. If your 2020 registration is being carried over to 2021 and you would like to add this option to your 2021 registration, please email email@example.com to steps on how to do this.
WHAT IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE 2021 RIDE?
We will do all we can to host this event, however, in the event that we are unable to secure permits from the county, we will transition the ride to a virtual event and supply aid bags to all of our riders to participate in the 2021 ride. A final decision on the ride will be made 30 days prior to the event.
WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR THE START/FINISH LINE?
Depending on the county’s requirements for large gatherings, we may eliminate/limit vendor participation at the start/finish line. We will also ensure all staff members/volunteers are following current local health department guidelines. As we have done at past rides, we will have a staggered start to ensure social distancing at the start/finish line area and throughout the ride.
WHAT IS THE PLAN FOR AID STATIONS?
We will ensure all staff and volunteers are following the health department’s guidelines at all aid stations. We are also currently planning on having pre-packaged snack bags available for riders at each aid station.
WILL LUNCH STILL BE PROVIDED?
We are still planning on providing lunch to participants. We are currently working on finalizing a safe, pre-packaged meal option for our riders. We will announce additional info as we get it.
If you have any additional questions, please email our Event Director, Jackie, at firstname.lastname@example.org!

Who is Goldilocks?
Goldilocks is just a girl who loves to ride. She is you and she is me. She can bike 20-100 miles and is cheerful as she rides. She is happy to stop for lunch and enjoys the scenery and the company of others. She is competitive with herself. She is fun, excited and ready to ride. #IAmGoldilocks
